Expert, full-time training

With more than 10 years of experience, Coach Carmen Goodner has trained swimmers and champions at all levels including AAU teams. She successfully swam through the age-group ranks, held an impressive breast stroke record for 20 years and earned several positions on the Puerto Rican national team. Carmen consistently delivers challenging workouts at each weekly session that improve the technique and performance of fitness and competitive swimmers.

Coach Jim Zinner swam through the AAU ranks, earned a swimming scholarship and became a junior college All-American. An avid Masters swimmer for 10 years, he competes in local meets and long distance events including the Hurricane Man and Tampa Bay Marathon Swim. During the week, he's in the pool with the team then on-deck to coach Saturday practices.

Specialized workouts with results

From beginners to experts, teammates can expect a robust and varied workout. Sessions are balanced among swim, stroke and drill sets to match skill levels and reach specific goals. Advanced swimmers can anticipate fast intervals and a vigorous practice ranging from 4,000 to 5,000 short-course yards.
